Our Clients
This is a small sampling of our clients porfolio. Many of our clients have become good friends. But some we have never met in person, doing all of our communication by email and phone.
All of our clients, whether personal friends are simply professional clients, are satisfied with their service from Virginia Web Works. And we want to introduce you to a few of them.
Christian Aid Mission
ChristianAid.org
The very first ministry website I ever created was for Christian Aid Mission, headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia. That was thirteen years ago. I still maintain this website to this day.
Christian Aid is an independent international mission agency. They do not send out missionaries. Rather they locate and evaluate native missionaries already working among the poor, oppressed, and unreached people in the most difficult areas of the world.
Their mission statement says it all: Christian Aid seeks to establish a witness for our Lord Jesus among unreached people groups by assisting highly effective native missionaries who already know the languages and culture and are getting the job done for less cost.
Christian Aid is generally considered to be the first missionary agency to support and promote indigenous mission groups. It has been the catalyst behind the present reformation in foreign missions methodology.
Over the years, Christian Aid has provided more than $100 million in assistance to more than 800 evangelistic ministries based in 122 "mission field" countries overseas. These boards deploy a combined total of 100,000 missionaries serving in the most unevangelized nations of the world.
World Children's Fund
WorldChildrensFund.org
World Children's Fund (WCF) is an international organization with offices in many countries. Their focus is on helping neglected and suffering children in the poorest areas of the world.
Their mission statement states: The World Children's Fund is a global network of caring and sharing to help rescue needy children who are abandoned, distressed, endangered, exploited, homeless, hungry, sick or suffering.
Virginia Web Works has had a long and fruitful relationship with the wonderful people of WCF.
"After several disappointing experiences with other providers Virginia Web Works came to my rescue. The service I needed was complex, multilingual, international and fast paced. Virginia Web Works did it all and on a budget that was a lifesaver. Life is complicated and the web doubly so. It's good to have a solution provider that makes things simple for us."

Crozet Arts & Crafts Festival
CrozetArtsAndCrafts.com
The first Crozet Arts and Crafts festival occurred in May 1981 with a roster of 28 artists and craftsmen. The idea was Mrs. George Kane’s. At the time she was serving as treasurer of Claudius Crozet Park and she was well aware that the Park desperately needed a source of yearly income to support it. In particular, there was the pressing necessity of paying off a very sizeable debt incurred when the 20-year-old junior Olympic pool required extensive repairs. The debt came to $53,000 and interest on it amounted to nearly $5,000 that first year.
Mrs. Kane invited craftsmen and artists who lived within a 25-mile radius of Crozet to participate. She was not in a position to promise them impressive financial rewards. It was a first-year show in a rural location. She wanted to keep their expenses to a minimum. The pavilion that serves as the main building of the 22-acre park could only accommodate 28 booths.
Every year, more and more accomplished artists and craftsmen applied to the Festival. As word spread, the news got around that the show was well attended. Even when it rained in those early years, close to 7,000 persons visited the Festival.
So it has become profitable enough for artisans of stature to apply for the two-day event. The Crozet Arts & Crafts Festival has attracted a considerable number of exhibitors who have been juried into The Baltimore Show put on by The American Craft Council, The Richmond Show sponsored by The Hand Work Shop; and The Roanoke Craft Show sponsored by The Roanoke Museum of Fine Arts, all highly respected shows that are considered prestigious in craft circles.
"Crozet Arts and Crafts fully supports VAWebWorks and our webmaster. The work is of high quality, timely and the customer support is second to none."

Charlottesville Yoseikan Karate School
CvilleYoseikan.com
Linda Gage began her training in the martial arts nearly 15 years ago. Her first experience was an Americanized Kenpo, which focused mainly on self-defense techniques. After several years of training in this style, Ms. Gage was introduced to Chito-ryu karate through a neighbor.
At this time she found Shihan James Matthews, founder of the West Palm Beach Yoseikan in Florida. He would be her Sensei and lead her along the path that was meant for her. Having come from a 25-year career as a professional ballet dancer, Ms. Gage was very knowledgeable about "correct" training and "body mechanics". Finding this in Chito-ryu karate, she made a switch and since then has devoted herself to furthering her skills and knowledge in this style.
The home page of their website states, "The purpose of our dojo (hall of the way) is to offer students from 7 years to 107 years old a place to grow in spirit, mind, and body. Budo ("The Warrior's Way") is a path that enables the development of one's moral character through the ongoing, detailed, rigorous process of perfecting the art of karate-do. Foremost, however, we are providing a means of self-defense training and over all physical conditioning."
"Mr. Ricky Cain has been web master for Charlottesville Yoseikan LLC for the past 4 years. We have constant kudos from many potential students as well as those that are already a part of the martial arts world. The site is interesting and easy to use. Ricky is a genius!"

World Christian Ministries
WorldChristianMinistries.org
World Christian Ministries (WCM) was founded for the expressed purpose of restarting a revived and revised World Christian magazine. When that became a financially insurmountable task, WCM decided to inform people about the work of indigenous missions through a free e-mail newsletter. John Lindner has written two books on the lives of mission leaders in the Two-Thirds World, and recommends others on this subject. WCM hopes to be a forum for discussing mission strategies in the 21st Century, and make available key articles and information on line as well as in publications for purchase.
John Lindner published Christian Mission magazine for Christian Aid Mission for 24 years. He observed how indigenous missionary leaders overcame obstacles, endured persecution, experienced answered prayer, and won corners of their world for Christ. John perceived that getting the word out about these selfless missionaries would bring fresh enthusiasm for missions among churches and individuals - and might even spark revival through renewed faith and revitalize prayer life.
"I have known Ricky Cain for some 14 years. In 2004 I asked him to create a website for a non-profit I was organizing. He understood my needs perfectly. He is savvy about the Internet, quick to respond to emergencies or special needs, and a real level guy to work with. And did I say professional services at a great rate? He is the perfect match for small and new enterprises."
