Cooperative Website Building
Many of our customers want to maintain their own websites. And many of those have very particular ideas of how they want their site to work and how it is layed out.
But they don't really know how to build it. Or they just don't have the time.
And sometimes, our clients will want to add some feature to their websites that is not easily added with the website builder they've chosen to use.
The team at Virginia Web Works can work in partnership with you to give you the type of website you want. We build your website with one of our website builders and give you full access to the administration of your website.
We begin by learning our client's needs and wishes for a website. What exactly are the goals? Then we develop a plan, which includes the type of hosting package which, in most cases, will feature one of our website builders, but not always. If our client understands html, javascript, and vbscript, and likes working with it, we may design a website from the ground up, and build it in cooperation with our client.
In either case, Virginia Web Works is responsible for the technical aspects of the design and maintenance of the site, and making it visible in the search engines, and the client is responsible for the content. Since the needs and goals for each website owner is unique, the program for each will be unique.
